Our Risk Assessors have over 35 years of experience and are very conversant with both Department of Health advisories HTM-04-01 part a and parts b (recommendations for procedures against Legionella bacteria) also to HTM-04-01 addendum Pseudomonas Aeruginosa advice for augmented care units.
Our Risk Assessors will always approach the Ward Manager Sister before commencing any works and adhere to any ward procedures in place and nursing best practice (Barrier Nursing & Intensive Care).
Assessors are always clean & smart, in short sleeve shirts, with bare arms from the elbows down, no ties and always present ID Badges upon arrival on any ward.
CLIRA believe that discretion is of the upmost importance whilst working within Health Care services, our Engineers will never announce that we are conducting a Legionella Risk Assessment but instead "a water survey for the Estates Department" .
Survey are always carried out in such a manner, so that it does not have any adverse effect on a patient /nursing requirements, with minimal intrusion and respecting patient privacy at all times
Should it be required we are able to work out of hours so that there is no disruption to important amenities integrating customer and patient care.
